Successful Single Tube Evaluation of FeMo Catalyst Syamcat JQ116 for Russian Client

Formaldehyde, a vital chemical with widespread industrial applications, is increasingly produced using the methanol oxidation method. This shift has led to a growing demand for FeMo catalysts, which are gradually replacing traditional silver catalysts in the production process.

In recent years, our company has focused on expanding our FeMo catalyst market in regions such as the Middle East, Russia, and Southeast Asia, supplying through local agents. In early August 2024, we participated in a tender in Russia, where our technical proposal stood out among five competing suppliers and was approved by the end user.

Prior to sending a sample of our FeMo catalyst for on-site testing, the client requested an additional evaluation using our single tube testing equipment. In response, we swiftly assembled a dedicated testing team to conduct a seven-day continuous evaluation, simulating the client's actual operating conditions. The detailed evaluation report was subsequently submitted to the end user's technical and production teams for review.

The results were impressive. The loading scheme of our FeMo catalyst, Syamcat JQ116, demonstrated excellent performance in the production process, with the yield of the target output exceeding expectations. The positive outcome was met with high praise from the client, leading to a prompt decision to finalize the contract.
